Competitions in giryovy sport (kettlebell lifting) among cadets, students, and pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev of the MIA took place at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

The tournament became a qualifying stage before the championship among pupils of security-oriented and national-patriotic education lyceums of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The event was conducted at the modern “Cyber Arena” – a recently equipped space at the university that allows preparing high-level athletes.

The events were conducted with the aim of increasing the level of teachers’ awareness of their own psycho-emotional states.

A meeting of pupils with representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine took place at the lyceum base — employees of the 1st State Fire and Rescue Unit of the 8th State Fire and Rescue Detachment of the Main Directorate of the SES of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Classes for lyceum pupils are conducted by representatives of the Recruiting Center of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade “Azov” of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The event was conducted by the pedagogical organizer of the lyceum Liliia LISOVA.

The session was conducted by the team coach — informatics teacher of the Dnipro Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev of the MIA Mykola SHEVCHENKO.

With the beginning of 2026, the wrestlers-lyceum students actively started the new training season.

Lyceum pupils joined the meeting in online mode.

At the competitions that gathered more than 140 athletes from Dnipropetrovsk region, lyceum pupil Aliona BURDINA won silver.

Counter-Strike 2 training in online mode was conducted taking into account the conditions of distance learning.
