The event brought together representatives of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, university leadership, students, and cadets from the Dnipro Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after Oleksandr Hostishchev.
The gathering began with a moment of silence to honor the fallen heroes.

He emphasized the bravery of the young people who, over a century ago, sacrificed their lives to defend the independence of the newly formed Ukrainian People's Republic.
