Chess Championship Held at the Dnipro Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
The competition served as a qualifying round for the upcoming MIA championship among security-oriented and national-patriotic education lyceums.
The event was opened by Lyceum Director Kyrylo NEDRIA, who emphasized the importance of chess as a sport that enhances abstract thinking and strategic problem-solving skills. He wished the participants success and highlighted the role of intellectual development in their future careers.
Eight cadets participated in the round-robin tournament, where each player competed against every other opponent.
Tournament Results:
Dmytro SHEVEL – Gold;
Vladyslav DOLZHENKO – Silver;
Andrii KHOLOD – Bronze.
All participants received certificates and sweet gifts in recognition of their efforts.
Students of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev learned about the specifics and directions of the unit's activities.
