Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after Oleksandr Hostishchev  is an institution of specialized education that provides profile secondary education, fosters a high level of patriotic consciousness in the younger generation, ensures the comprehensive and harmonious development of the individual, instills respect for the law, and prepares students for service to the Ukrainian people. The specialized education with the focus on security and national-patriotic upbringing includes: the acquisition of educational programs with a security orientation, the development of relevant competencies, and the formation and development of individual abilities.

The Lyceum is a state institution of general secondary education of the third level. It provides students with profile secondary education according to their abilities, oriented towards their future profession, particularly in the security and defense sector.
