Lyceum students learned to sew soft toys that can be used to support children’s psychological well-being.
As part of the patriotic creativity club at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), a master class on sewing soft toys was held for students of the O. Hostishchev Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education.
The event was led by Natalia KARNAUKH, Head of the Social and Humanitarian Work Department at DSUIA, Police Lieutenant Colonel.
These toys are used by the “White Angel” special unit in their work with children. The unit is engaged in evacuating civilians, delivering humanitarian aid, and documenting the consequences of Russian shelling. During evacuations, children receive these toys to feel support and warmth by hugging a soft bunny, helping them cope with the traumatic effects of war.
