The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs hosted a lecture for students of the Dnipro Lyceum for Security and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev.
The event was led by Serhii TSYHULSKYI, Deputy Head of the Department for Organizing Scientific Activities.
During the lecture, students were introduced to science as a significant phenomenon in societal life, exploring its methods, capabilities, and impact on humanity's progress. Special attention was given to the origins of science as a field of activity.
The lyceum students learned about scientific thinking and its key characteristics, the influence of scientific and technological inventions on everyday life, and the contributions of Ukrainians to the development of computer technology. Additionally, they discussed the emergence of the Internet and its overall impact on humanity.
Kyrylo NEDRYA, Director of the Dnipro Lyceum for Security and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev, delivered an online lecture upon the invitation of the Minor Academy of Sciences. The event gathered over 300 participants, including lyceum students.
