Military personnel from the Spartan Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine’s 3rd Operational Brigade visited the Oleksandr Hostishchev Dnipro Lyceum for Security and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

   The meeting gave the lyceum students an opportunity to learn more about the activities of the National Guard of Ukraine, its missions, and its role in ensuring national security. Representatives of the brigade spoke about the unit’s history and development, its journey, the specifics of its operations, and the technical equipment that helps personnel carry out their assigned tasks.

   The lyceum students were particularly interested in learning about modern technologies and technical equipment. The service members presented various types of equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles, explaining their purpose and potential applications. The students’ keen interest, numerous questions, and active participation in the discussion demonstrated their enthusiasm for modern technologies and the field of security.

   Maxym Kaplunov, the company senior sergeant of the brigade’s Operational Battalion, also emphasized the importance of engaging with the younger generation and expressed hope that, for some of the lyceum students, this meeting would become the first step toward choosing their future profession.

   For the lyceum students, such meetings provide an opportunity to hear from people whose work is directly connected with defending the country, ask questions, and gain new knowledge. It is through direct communication that a deeper understanding of responsibility, teamwork, and the importance of serving society is fostered.
