Lyceum students met with representatives of the KORD (Rapid Operational Response Corps) Directorate of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Students of the Oleksandr Hostishchev Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine met with representatives of the KORD (Rapid Operational Response Corps) Directorate of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

KORD is a special-purpose police unit deployed to carry out the most complex and dangerous assignments. Its key responsibilities include apprehending armed criminals, rescuing hostages, combating organized crime, and providing tactical support for police operations.
During the meeting, the students learned more about the nature of service in the unit, the training of special operations officers, and the requirements for candidates. The representatives emphasized the importance of physical endurance, psychological resilience, discipline, and effective teamwork.

Special attention was given to KORD’s modern equipment, the use of advanced technologies, and the careful planning of operations, as every decision matters when carrying out operational duties.
The introduction to the unit’s work continued with a practical session. The students took part in simulated operational scenarios, gaining a better understanding of the importance of teamwork, prompt action, and carrying out assigned tasks clearly and efficiently.

The meeting gave the students an opportunity to see the work of special operations officers up close, learn about the specifics of their service, and appreciate the level of professional training and responsibility required to carry out complex assignments.

We thank the representatives of KORD of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast for the informative discussion, their openness, and the opportunity to introduce our students to an important area of the National Police of Ukraine’s work.
