The solemn ceremony became a significant event for the entire system of departmental education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In the Dnipro Lyceum of security orientation and national-patriotic education named after O. Hostishchev, the first graduation of lyceum students in history took place.
Together with the graduates of the other four MIA lyceums, the graduates of the Dnipro Lyceum were congratulated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor KLYMENKO during a nationwide live broadcast. In his address, he emphasized that over two years of study, the lyceum students became stronger, more experienced and more confident, and the knowledge, values and principles instilled in the MIA lyceums should remain a guiding star for them throughout their lives.

During the solemn events, the participants of the event honored the memory of the fallen Defenders and Defenderesses of Ukraine with a minute of silence.

The laying of the time capsule added special symbolism to the celebrations. The graduates left in it letters with their dreams and wishes to themselves in the future, as well as a video archive of the brightest moments of lyceum life.
Another important tradition was the solemn transfer of the Lyceum Flag to the first-year students as a symbol of generational continuity and the continuation of lyceum traditions. After that, the graduates took a vow to worthily bear the title of lyceum graduates, to cherish its values and to multiply the glory of Ukraine with their deeds.

The culmination of the ceremony was the presentation of certificates of complete general secondary education and badges of the graduate of the security orientation and national-patriotic education Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The award, initiated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor KLYMENKO, was received by each graduate as a symbol of belonging to the large family of lyceums of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The solemn events ended with a special ceremony of parental blessing. Under Ukrainian towels and blue-and-yellow ribbons, the graduates took their first symbolic steps into adulthood, receiving the most sincere wishes for peace, success and the fulfillment of dreams.
