Dnipro Lyceum of the MIA joined the all-Ukrainian festival of choirs "Long Live Hope!"

The festival was solemnly opened by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna YASHCHUK.

Pupils of Dnipro Lyceum of security direction and national-patriotic education named after Oleksandr Hostishchev of DSUIA became participants of the second festival of choirs of lyceums of the MIA .

The song festival, established on the initiative of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor KLYMENKO, for the second time united lyceum students from all over the country. This year its participants were 100 freshmen of lyceums of the MIA of Ukraine, who for almost five months prepared for the performance under the direction of artists of the Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard of Ukraine. During rehearsals, young men and women improved their vocal skills and stage culture to worthily represent their educational institutions and through the Ukrainian song convey love for the Motherland.

On the eve of the festival, the lyceum students stayed at a camp for three weeks on the basis of the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine in Cherkasy. In addition to a rich cultural program and excursions, they continued their preparation for the festival every day, which helped them to unite even more and tune in to the joint performance.

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna YASHCHUK emphasized that such events help young people to show patriotism and devotion to Ukraine, and the Ukrainian song is a symbol of unity that inspires, strengthens self-confidence and opens opportunities for the development of talents of lyceum students.

During the concert, pupils of the lyceums of the MIA together performed patriotic works about faith in Victory, hope for a peaceful future and love for their native land accompanied by the Orchestra of the Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The final chord of the festival was the joint performance of the song "Long Live Hope" by the united choir of lyceums. After that, Inna YASHCHUK presented each collective with commemorative awards for participation in the event and noted that the festival for the second time proved: it is unity, cohesion and common work that help to overcome any challenges and achieve high results.

Participation in the festival became for the lyceum students of Dnipro Lyceum of the MIA not only a creative test, but also an opportunity to feel themselves part of a large family of educational institutions of the system of the MVS of Ukraine, united by common values, patriotism and love for Ukrainian culture.
