“Fundamentals of Road Traffic Safety and Vehicle Driving”: continuation of optional classes at the Dnipro Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
During the next lesson, the lyceum students mastered the main provisions of the Road Traffic Rules and the principles of safety on the road.
Special attention is paid to the study of road signs: the lyceum students master their types, meanings and role in ensuring the safety of road users. They also consider typical road situations in which the correct understanding of signs helps to make safe decisions.
Classes combine a theoretical and practical approach. With the help of a special computer simulator, the pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs master the correct algorithm for starting the engine, synchronization of leg movements for pressing the gas and clutch pedals, as well as the technique of starting movement and maneuvering.
Emphasis is placed on issues of discipline, in particular, on the mandatory use of seat belts, correct adjustment of the seat according to height and adjustment of rear-view mirrors for maximum visibility.
Such measures contribute to the development of attentiveness, discipline, self-control and a responsible attitude to road safety.

On the basis of the modern space "Cyber Arena" of DSUIA, another esports training was held with the participation of pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and cadets of the university.
