A Student of the Dnipro Lyceum Named Best Goalkeeper
The mini-football championship also featured cadets, students, and representatives of the Police Academy Primary Vocational Training Center (CPPP “Police Academy”).
The event was organized by the Department of Special Physical Training of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA). The championship began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine, followed by a moment of silence in honor of the fallen defenders.
Six teams took part in the competition:
– the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine (NPU),
– the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Units of the NPU,
– the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists in Preventive Activities of the NPU,
– the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education,
– the Police Academy Primary Vocational Training Center, and
– the Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education named after Oleksandr Hostishchev.
The final match was held between the teams of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists in Preventive Activities of the NPU and the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Units of the NPU, who claimed gold and silver respectively.
All teams received commemorative certificates. The title of Best Goalkeeper was awarded to lyceum student Denys Kes, while Bohdan Shvets, a cadet of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU, was recognized as the Best Striker.
