The lesson for pupils of Dnipro Lyceum of security direction and national-patriotic education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev was conducted by head of the sector of organization of the service of educational safety of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region police lieutenant colonel Olena TKACHOVA.

   To lyceum students was explained that an officer of the Service of educational safety — is a police officer who works directly in educational institutions for ensuring safety of pupils, teachers and visitors.

   Pupils of the lyceum learned about the main directions of activity of officers of SES: ensuring safety in the institution, counteraction to bullying, prevention of harmful habits, conducting trainings on safe behavior and reaction to emergency situations.

   Together with the policewoman children watched a video, discussed typical situations that can arise at school, and ways of their safe solution.

   Lyceum students actively joined the discussion, asked questions and noted the importance of work of officers of the Service of educational safety for creation of a safe environment in educational institutions.
