Lyceum students created red poppies — a symbol of remembrance for those who died in World War II.
Lyceum students created red poppies — a symbol of remembrance for those who died in World War II.
The workshop was led by Lieutenant Colonel of Police Nataliia Karnaukh, Head of the Department for Social and Humanitarian Work, as part of the patriotic creativity club’s activities.
During the session, cadets and students of the O. Hostishchev Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum at DSUIA not only learned how to craft the iconic red flower traditionally worn on May 8, but also explored the historical background of this symbol — one that combines the pain of loss with the hope for peace.
The event became both an emotional and educational experience, helping young people reflect on the past and contribute to the preservation of national memory.
