A series of cyber hygiene classes has begun for students of the Dnipro Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA). The first session was conducted by Major of Police Dmytro Danchenko, Head of the Unit for Countering Cybercrimes in the Dnipropetrovsk Region of the Criminal Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine.

   During the class, participants discussed the basics of internet safety, methods for protecting personal data, and setting up two-factor authentication for messaging apps and email. The lyceum students were also informed about how cybercriminals gain access to accounts and the steps to take to avoid such risks. Special attention was given to the issue of personal data leaks and their illegal use.

   Such classes are particularly relevant for young people, as they teach responsible behavior in the digital environment, promote information security, and help prevent becoming victims of cybercrime.
