Pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev of the MIA Won Bronze Medals at the All-Ukrainian MIA Chess Championship
On February 25–26, 2026, pupils of five security-oriented and national-patriotic education lyceums as well as the Military Lyceum of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine competed at the boards.
The Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after Oleksandr Hostishchev of the MIA was represented by a team consisting of pupils Andrii KHOLOD, Dmytro SHEVEL, Oleksandr SPYRYDONOV and Davyd YAROSHEVYCH under the guidance of the educator – Lieutenant Serhii DIDYK.
In the individual chess championship, lyceum pupils Andrii KHOLOD and Oleksandr SPYRYDONOV took third place.
The awards to the boys were presented by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna YASHCHUK, Head of the Department for Monitoring the Activities of MIA Lyceums Larysa VASYANOVYCH, Rector of the National Academy of Internal Affairs Ruslan SERBYN and Chief Arbiter of the Championship Ivan ZAKHARCHUK.
