At the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education of the MVS named after Oleksandr Hostishchev, events were held on the occasion of the initiation of students into lyceum students.
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine. After that, all present honored the memory of the fallen Heroes with a minute of silence.
The host read out the greetings of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Police General of the First Rank Ihor KLYMENKO.
The lyceum students were congratulated by the Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine – Head of the Patrol Police, Police General of the Third Rank Oleksandr FATSEVYCH; First Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration – Head of the Regional Military Administration Yurii YANDULSKYI; Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Colonel Yurii MERDENOV; Deputy Head of the Central Territorial Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine, Colonel Vadym KULYK; Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Civil Protection Service Colonel Serhii KORINNYI; Head of the 3rd Border Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Colonel Serhii LOZYNSKYI; Deputy Head of the Eastern Regional Directorate – Head of the Operational-Military Directorate with a location in the city of Kramatorsk, Brigadier General Oleksii HAVEL; Leading Specialist of the Department for the Implementation of Veterans’ Policy of the Veterans’ Policy Department of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Bohdan ILCHENKO.
The guests also presented gifts to the lyceum.
The students were also addressed by the lyceum director Kyrylo NEDRIA and Iryna SHCHERBYNA – the sister of Oleksandr Hostishchev, after whom the educational institution is named.
The students solemnly proclaimed the Lyceum Student’s Oath, promising to be worthy citizens of Ukraine, to love their native language, land, and to uphold its honor.
Senior lyceum students prepared a musical greeting for the new students.
The initiation into lyceum students became an important step in educating youth in the spirit of patriotism, discipline, and responsibility.
