Training at the “Cyber Arena”: Improving Conditions for Developing Skills in Cyber Athletes from Lyceum Pupils
The session was conducted by the team coach — informatics teacher of the Dnipro Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev of the MIA Mykola SHEVCHENKO.
Recently, 2 new cyberspaces were presented at DSUIA. One of them, the modern “Cyber Arena”, has already become a platform for preparation for all-Ukrainian level competitions.
Teams of the 1st and 2nd courses of the lyceum competed in the game Counter-Strike 2. Players practiced tactical maneuvers, team interaction and quick response.
After the game, a detailed analysis of the players’ actions was organized, errors and difficult moments were dissected, which allowed the lyceum pupils to deepen their understanding of strategies in cyberspace.
Such events contribute to the development of digital competencies, strategic thinking, teamwork and psychological resilience of youth.
