Representatives of the Dnipro Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Named After O. Hostishchev Received Awards for Education Workers' Day

A ceremonial event at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine took place with the participation of educators and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Inna Yashchuk.

Teachers, researchers and staff who have made significant contributions to the development of the Ministry’s educational system and to ensuring the high-quality training of future law enforcement officers and security professionals received letters of appreciation, honorary certificates and awards in honor of Education Workers’ Day.

In particular, during the event, Svitlana Mozhova, Deputy Director of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev, and Iryna Selivanova, teacher of English language and literature, were recognized.

“Over the past three years, the material and technical base of the educational institutions within the Ministry of Internal Affairs system has significantly improved. Classrooms, specialized facilities, and laboratories have been modernized, sports infrastructure expanded, and living conditions for vocational students enhanced. The development and performance of these institutions demonstrate that education has never been of secondary importance for our Ministry.

On the eve of Ukraine’s Education Workers' Day, and on behalf of the MIA team, I extend my sincere gratitude for your work for the benefit of future generations. You do more than transfer knowledge – you cultivate courage, discipline, resilience and help shape the character of those who will stand to defend Ukraine tomorrow,” – said Inna Yashchuk in her address to the attendees.
