Open-Source Intelligence: Training Session for Students of the Hostishchev Lyceum

During the event, methods of searching through open sources and geospatial data were explored.

The session on GEOSINT (Geospatial Intelligence) was conducted by Major Dmytro DANCHENKO, Head of the Cybercrime Counteraction Unit in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Department of Criminal Police, National Police of Ukraine.

Students of the Dnipro Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum named after Oleksandr Hostishchev learned about relevant online resources and search techniques.

The expert provided practical examples and demonstrated how GEOSINT mechanisms work, using identifiable landmarks such as recognizable structures, landscape features, and more.

Such sessions contribute to the development of applied skills, enhance the awareness of lyceum students, and broaden their worldview.

A vibrant and emotionally rich event dedicated to Vyshyvanka Day and the International Day of Families took place at the Dnipro Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev.

Vyshyvanka Day and Family Day at the Lyceum: “A Friendly Lyceum Family – A Strong Ukraine!”
