Representatives of the Bayda Youth Movement from Zaporizhzhia visited the Dnipro Lyceum

They got acquainted with the key locations, material and technical base, and educational conditions of both the lyceum and the university.

Together with representatives of the DSUIA teaching staff, the guests toured the classrooms where cadets hone their practical skills needed to maintain and protect public order.
In particular, the visitors were shown the classroom dedicated to the use of UAVs in police work, where they received detailed explanations about the construction and control of unmanned aerial vehicles. The students had the opportunity to operate UAVs firsthand right on the university grounds: first through flight simulators, then in open space.

In a specialized classroom for the identification of explosive devices, the students were taught how to respond to reports of suspicious objects resembling explosives, and how police officers should ensure their own safety and that of others when such items are discovered.

During their visit to the shooting range, the guests learned the basic rules of using firearms. They also tried on police gear and, together with experts, made several test shots.
The Bayda youth members were also shown a police vehicle and were told about its additional features and use during duty.

At the DSUIA library, the guests met with the head of the institution, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morgunov. In an informal setting, they asked the rector about the conditions of study and admission, the advantages, and the prospects of a police career.

The tour of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev was conducted by the lyceum’s director Kyrylo Nedria. The guests toured the premises, visited the educational buildings, saw the dormitory, and learned about the living conditions of the lyceum students.
At the end of the visit, the students attended the Museum of the Modern Russo-Ukrainian War in Dnipro, which preserves stories, artifacts, and personal belongings of defenders from the Dnipropetrovsk region..

According to the DSUIA administration, the university is always open to meetings with youth, future graduates, and prospective applicants. Such events provide a comprehensive picture of how education is organized, the specific features, challenges, and requirements for admission. This, in turn, attracts motivated and goal-oriented applicants.
