Students Greeted on St. Nicholas Day
Students of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education Named After Oleksandr Hostishchev Greeted on St. Nicholas Day
In the morning, on the occasion of St. Nicholas Day, the leadership of the Main Departments of the National Police of Dnipropetrovsk and Luhansk regions, the Central Territorial Administration of the National Guard of Ukraine, the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Region, as well as the administration of DSUIA and the lyceum, presented sweets and memorable gifts to the students.
The event was attended by the Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Oleksandr MORHUNOV; the Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Colonel Oleksandr HANZHA; the Head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Major General of Civil Protection Service Yurii KORETSKYI; and Acting Head of the Central Territorial Administration of the National Guard of Ukraine, Colonel Denys SHLEHA. On behalf of the Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Luhansk Region, Police Colonel Ruslan SERBIN, the lyceum students were greeted by Deputy Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Luhansk Region, Police Colonel Dmytro OTSTAVNYKH, and Head of the Human Resources Department, Police Colonel Oleksandr TELIUK, as well as the Director of the Dnipro Lyceum, Kyrylo NEDRIA.
In their speeches, the leaders emphasized the importance of peace in the country and the world, encouraging students to be persistent, invest in their education, and engage in self-development. Lyceum students also received sweets from representatives of Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
At the conclusion, the guests wished everyone faith in a bright future in a free country. These words not only set a festive mood but also underscored the importance of raising new generations in the spirit of patriotism and responsibility.
After completing their morning exercise routine, the lyceum students were presented with valuable gifts in honor of St. Nicholas Day at the parade ground, as well as a traditional treat found under their pillows.
