The purpose of the car training course is to form basic practical skills of driving a vehicle in lyceum students, to develop skills of safe behavior on the road and further improvement of driving skills.
In particular, the lyceum students practiced the algorithm of preparing the driver’s workplace: correct adjustment of the seat according to height and body position, adjustment of rear-view mirrors to ensure maximum visibility, as well as mandatory use of seat belts.
The participants studied in detail the purpose and principle of operation of the main controls of the vehicle – the steering wheel, pedals (accelerator, brake and clutch) and gear shift lever.
