As part of her working visit, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine met with the leadership of the university and the lyceum, and interacted with future lyceum students and their parents.

   On August 8, 2024, the entrance exams began, lasting until August 11. On the day of the final test in the Ukrainian language, the applicants had the opportunity to talk with Inna YASHCHUK.

   «You will be the first for whom the newly established Lyceum will open its doors. So, I sincerely wish you confidence and believe that today will be successful for each of you!» said the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

   During the meeting with the parents of the applicants, Inna YASHCHUK emphasized that the most important task of the five lyceums being opened by the Ministry of Internal Affairs today is to provide support and quality education for the children of heroes, employees of the bodies and units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, and children of the Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen who have been defending the state since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2014.

   «Among the heroes, there are those who are wounded, missing, and in captivity. The task of the Ministry of Internal Affairs today, as well as the state as a whole, is to support families in need,» noted Inna YASHCHUK.

   While inspecting the lyceum and the surrounding area, the State Secretary highlighted the conditions for learning and living: modern educational equipment, recreational areas, sports grounds, rooms, reliable shelters, and the safety of the territory.

   This year, more than 130 candidates registered for admission to the Dnipro Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum, particularly from the Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv regions.

   In just a few days, those who successfully passed the exams will be included in the lists of those recommended for admission to the Dnipro Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
