At Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev MIA continues its work the English speaking club Curious English.

   During the new meeting pupils of the lyceum learned about peculiarities of preparation for Christmas in Great Britain, traditions of decorating the Christmas tree and related cultural customs.

   Participants prepared Christmas cards for teachers and friends, demonstrated hand-made advent calendar and Christmas wreath.

   Atmosphere of the lesson was festive: lyceum pupils tried on traditional paper crowns, took part in contest with use of Christmas crackers, performed English and Ukrainian carols and songs.

   All present were greeted by Santa Claus with helpers in reindeer costumes who treated participants with sweets.

   The lesson allowed pupils to demonstrate conversational skills of English language and deepen knowledge in the sphere of world culture.
