The event was conducted by Mykola Repan, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of DSUIA, together with Anna Dziuba, Senior Educator of the Lyceum and Police Lieutenant Colonel. Practical police officers also joined the session – Yevhen Voronovskyі, Head of the Community Interaction Sector of the Prevention Department of the Dnipro District Police Department No. 2 of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as community police officers of the same sector – Police Captain Vitalii Minnikov and Police Senior Lieutenant Ihor Sakharevych.

   The lyceum students learned about the specifics of community police officers’ work and the challenges they face in their daily service. Afterwards, they explored a police vehicle and its equipment, including a searchlight, hydraulic shears, tool kits and communication devices that ensure effective on-site operations.

   The class continued at the training ground “Prevention and Counteraction to Domestic Violence”, where lyceum staff members – practical psychologist Nataliia Shynkarenko and social pedagogue Svitlana Kushnikova – joined the participants.

   Law enforcement officers shared their experience of responding to domestic violence incidents under martial law, emphasizing that any manifestations of violence or aggression must not be ignored. They reminded students to immediately seek help by calling 102.

   To consolidate their knowledge, the lyceum students, together with police officers, practiced response algorithms aimed at stopping domestic violence and improving communication with citizens.
